Here are 6 easy ways to make your own natural acne medication.

1. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is a renowned anti-fungal and antibacterial remedy that can be found easy in any vitamin aisle. With the anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, tea tre oil fights just as hard as the chemical benzoyl peroxide that is commonly used in acne medication.

In fact, when the two were tested side by side, tea tree oil produced the same results as the harsh chemical. The benzoyl peroxide worked quicker but showed more side effects than the natural tea tree oil.

2. Aspirin Face Mask

Here’s one you may have never heard before- the aspirin face mask.

This simple remedy can be created by using a solution of one finely crushed aspirin tablet per tablespoon of cold cream. Mix the two together and create a nice face mask that can be spread on your face. Here are more in depth instructions.

Spread the mask on your face and wait 3-5 minutes then rinse thoroughly to remove all of the product from your face.

3. Cold Water

That’s right, simple cold water can clear up acne without the use of any harmful chemicals.

Using the cold-water method may work slower than other routines but you can’t get any more basic and budget-friendly than this method to rinsing away nasty oil and cleansing your skin.

Simply fill an empty 1-gallon jug with water and put it in the freezer for 2 hours. Pour the water into a large bowl, then dip your face in the water for 25 seconds (5 dips for 5 seconds each). Repeat this process about 3-5 a day for best results.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar

This strong acne solution can be made by easily diluting 50{689aa6ecc40f1f2c0ba687345254d406fc5a551d5a9ae4d2840519f4487717f6} apple cider vinegar with 50{689aa6ecc40f1f2c0ba687345254d406fc5a551d5a9ae4d2840519f4487717f6} clean and filtered water.

Mix the two into a bowl and rinse your face daily with the solution. It is recommended that once your acne begins to clear up, switch to 20{689aa6ecc40f1f2c0ba687345254d406fc5a551d5a9ae4d2840519f4487717f6} apple cider vinegar and 80{689aa6ecc40f1f2c0ba687345254d406fc5a551d5a9ae4d2840519f4487717f6} water.

Additional note: make sure not to use cheap vinegar for this process. Be sure to buy your vinegar at your favorite health food store.

5. Raw Potato

This method is another budge-friendly routine that has been proven to be an anti-inflammatory solution to your acne. Raw potatoes are also useful for healing inflamed areas and can reduce scarring.

Start by slicing a raw potato and apply to skin with gentle circular motions. Then wash off any residue from your skink by rinsing your skin with water.
